After only a 7-month period, in June 1955, Marubeni Japan promoted the Company from a Representative Office to a Regional Branch. The Company has thereafter started her own trade business in Hong Kong. |

In June 1974, Marubeni Hong Kong Limited (the Company) was incorporated as the wholly owned subsidiary of Marubeni Japan.

And now, as a result of business expansion, the Company holds her own subsidiary company (Marubeni Guangzhou Trading Co., Ltd.) and 2 liaison offices (Xiamen and Kunming), and has more than 150 staff under the direct umbrella of the Company. |
